Technovation Challenge

Un programa mundial solo para chicas, que te enseñará a desarrollar aplicaciones y tu espíritu empresarial, en este momento se esta invitando a participar y formar tus equipos de 4 o 5 chicas

WOMEN ARE VASTLY UNDERREPRESENTED IN TECHNOLOGY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.


One third of entrepreneurs are women, 4 in 1,000 female college freshmen want to major in computer science, and 50% of women who are in STEM careers leave the workforce.

WE INSPIRE AND EDUCATE GIRLS AND WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY.


Technovation’s mission is to inspire and educate girls and women to solve real-world problems through technology.

Students work in teams to develop mobile app “startups” to solve real problems in their communities. Technovation Coaches (teachers, parents, or community members) and Mentors (women professionals in technology or business) lead the teams as they compete for a part of $20,000 in awards.

How would the rate of innovation increase if more women became technology innovators? What if technology industry leaders came from diverse backgrounds? What if women in tech stayed in tech? Let’s find out.
